📑 Service-Specific Provisions
Lovisode Credits and Rewards
These provisions apply from September 23, 2026 and, under Article 2(2), prevail over the other provisions of these Terms with respect to Lovisode.
- Credits: “Credits” are electronic vouchers that users spend to use paid features of Lovisode. Credits are granted through purchase or as rewards set by the Company (such as the referral and promotion rewards below).
- No cash refunds or transfers: Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or any cash equivalent. However, withdrawal and refunds for purchased credits are governed by Article 6. Any separate policy on the validity period or expiry of credits is as described in the service, and credits may not be transferred, sold or lent to any third party.
- Referral rewards: When another user who signed up with a user’s invite code or invite link (the “referred user”) completes their first analysis, the referrer and the referred user each receive the credits set by the Company.
- A referred user may apply an invite code only if they have no completed analysis at the time of applying it, and may not apply their own code. Each person can receive a referral reward only once in their lifetime.
- Referrer rewards are granted for up to 10 new referrals per calendar month (Korea Standard Time); beyond that, only the referred user receives the reward. The Company may change this limit and the credits granted with prior notice.
- If a referral reward is obtained by improper means, such as self-referral, creating multiple accounts or using automated programs, the Company may refuse to grant the reward, reclaim credits already granted and restrict use of the service.
- Promotion rewards: Users may apply for a promotion reward by submitting the URL of a publicly posted post on Naver Blog, Tistory, velog, Brunch, YouTube, Instagram (feed or Reels), Threads, X or TikTok.
- The post must be public and must include the user’s own invite code or invite link and a disclosure that the post is rewarded (reward notice), as required by the Korean Act on Fair Labeling and Advertising.
- Submitted posts are reviewed manually by the Company, which decides whether to approve them and how many credits to grant (1 to 200 credits per post).
- Each URL can be submitted only once across all users, and each user may submit up to 3 posts per calendar month (Korea Standard Time).
- If a post is deleted or made private after approval, the Company may reclaim the credits already granted.
- If a user submits a post they did not write or makes a false submission, the Company will refuse the reward and may restrict use of the account.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that the posts they submit comply with each platform’s policies and with laws on labeling and advertising.
- Improper acquisition of rewards: Obtaining or attempting to obtain rewards offered by the Company, such as referral or promotion rewards, by improper means is prohibited conduct under Article 8. If a user obtains rewards by improper means, the Company may reclaim the credits granted and restrict use of the service.
Lovisode Web Services (lovisode.com) and Verdict Board
These provisions apply from October 29, 2026 and, under Article 2(2), prevail over the other provisions of these Terms with respect to the Lovisode web services.
- Web services: At lovisode.com, the Company provides personality tests, compatibility invites, question packs and the Verdict Board (판결 게시판), where other users vote for 18 hours to reach a verdict on posts that an operator has reviewed and published. Personality tests, compatibility invites and question packs can be used without signing in. Only users aged 19 or older may sign in (with Google or email), and the web account is the same account as the Lovisode app. For an account created on the web, the sign-up bonus (credits) that the Company offers to users who sign up in the app is granted when that account first uses the app.
- Name analysis and credit purchases: Signed-in users may receive a name analysis at lovisode.com by entering a photo and profile information (gender, date of birth, occupation and personality); each analysis deducts 20 credits. Credits can be purchased at lovisode.com by card payment through KG Inicis (PortOne). Purchased credits are granted as soon as payment is complete and can also be used in the Lovisode app with the same account. If an analysis is not completed because of a server error, the deducted credits are returned.
- Refunds of web credits: Notwithstanding Article 6, credits purchased at lovisode.com are refunded as follows:
- If the request is made within 7 days of the payment date and none of the credits granted by that payment have been used, the full payment amount is refunded.
- In all other cases, the refund equals the number of remaining purchased credits multiplied by the price per credit of the product purchased.
- Credits granted free of charge, such as for signing up, referrals or events, are not refundable.
- Refunds of web payments are requested by email to hello@arclair.com, not through an app store, and the Company withdraws the refunded credits.
- Invite links: Names entered for a compatibility invite or question pack are shown to the people who receive the link. A completed compatibility result can be seen by anyone who has the link, so links should be shared with care. Question-pack answers are shown only to the two participants.
- Age requirements for the Verdict Board: Only users confirmed by their date of birth to be 19 or older may write posts or rebuttals. The date of birth is the same information as in the app and cannot be changed once entered. Only signed-in users aged 19 or older may vote, and users whose date of birth on file shows that they are under 19 cannot vote. Any signed-in user may submit a report.
- Verdict Board rules: Users must not submit any of the following to the Verdict Board as a post or a rebuttal:
- anything other than a true story the user has personally experienced, including stories generated by AI or made up;
- information that could identify the user or anyone else, such as real names, contact details, workplaces, schools or neighborhoods, or content about another person written in a way that could identify them;
- screenshots, photos or other images, links, or external account IDs; or
- abusive, hateful or demeaning content, sexual content, advertising, or anything else that violates applicable law or Article 8.
- Review and enforcement: Every post is reviewed by an operator before it is published. The Company may decline to publish posts that break these rules or the law, or that the other party has declined to have published, and may hide or delete such posts even after publication. Posts containing personal information, contact details or links may be refused automatically when submitted. The Company may restrict the use of users who violate these provisions in accordance with Article 4.
- Nature of verdicts: Verdicts are the opinions of other users, not counseling, and are not legal, medical, psychological or other professional advice. If you are in danger in Korea, contact 112 (police), 1366 (Women’s Emergency Hotline) or 109 (Suicide Prevention Hotline).
- Rebuttals: Before a post is published, its author may send the other party a rebuttal invite link. The link is valid for 3 days, and only the first person who signs in and opens it may write a rebuttal or decline publication. If the other party declines, the post will not be published. Once the other party has opened the link, the author cannot request publication without a rebuttal until the link expires. These provisions also apply to rebuttals.
- Reports of rights infringement and temporary measures: Anyone whose rights, such as privacy or reputation, are infringed by a Verdict Board post may request its removal using the post’s report function. When the Company receives a report for “personal information” (실명·연락처 등 개인정보가 있어요), “this is about me” (제 이야기예요 · 공개를 원하지 않아요) or “danger” (위험해 보여요), it hides the post immediately; for other reasons, a post is hidden once three or more different users report it. Hiding a post in response to a report of rights infringement is a temporary measure under Article 44-2 of the Korean Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and lasts no longer than 30 days. The Company reviews hidden posts and decides either to republish them or not to publish them; posts it decides not to publish are deleted after 30 days. The author can check the status of a post under “My posts” (「내 글」) and may object by contacting hello@arclair.com. The Company notifies users of these measures through status indicators in the service and, where required by law, also by email or other means.
- Rights in posts: Users retain the rights to the posts and rebuttals they write on the Verdict Board. Users permit the Company to publish and display them within the Services, including on pages opened through shared links; any other use is governed by Article 7. Users may delete their own posts at any time under “My posts”, which also deletes the post’s rebuttal, votes and reports.
- Account deletion: When a user deletes their account, all of their Verdict Board posts (including published ones), rebuttals, votes and reports, as well as the compatibility results and question packs saved to their account, are deleted and cannot be restored.
- Usage limits: To prevent abuse, the Company limits the number of posts a user may submit in 24 hours (three) and the number of requests.
Mythelo
These provisions were announced on October 21, 2026, apply from November 20, 2026 and, under Article 2(2), prevail over the other provisions of these Terms with respect to Mythelo. Until November 19, 2026, the previous Mythelo Terms of Service, effective September 21, 2026, apply.
- Nature of the service: On the Mythelo website and mobile app, Mythelo calculates Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) from the date of birth and other information the user enters, and provides the result as an interpretation written by generative AI. Mythelo’s interpretations are for reference only and do not replace medical, legal or financial judgment. All decisions are made by the user.
- AI character conversations: The mobile app provides text and voice conversations with AI characters. Conversation content is also written by generative AI, so it may be inaccurate or differ from fact, and is for reference only, like the interpretations above. To use voice conversation, you must allow the device’s microphone. If you do not, voice conversation is unavailable, but text conversation and other features remain available.
- Eligibility: Notwithstanding the age-13 threshold in Article 3, Mythelo may be used only by users aged 14 or older. A minor under 19 years of age (Korean Civil Act, Article 5) needs the consent of a legal representative to use Mythelo’s paid services, and a paid-service contract made without that consent may be cancelled by the minor or the legal representative.
- Web scope and payment: On the web, the free scope is the summary (top percentage, type and preview) and result generation twice a day; the full reading is a paid service. The scope in the mobile app is as shown on the relevant screen in the app. On the web, paid services are paid by card or easy-pay through a payment service provider (Korea PortOne and KG Inicis; payments by users accessing from outside Korea are processed by Dodo Payments). The amount and currency are those shown on the screen immediately before payment.
- Viewing period for web purchases: A full reading paid for on the web can be viewed for one year from the payment date (for example, a payment on September 21, 2026 allows viewing until September 21, 2027). After that period, the full reading can no longer be viewed. The expiry date can be checked in “My Saju”.
- In-app payments in the mobile app: Payments in the mobile app are governed by the following:
- Paid services in the mobile app are purchased through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the charge is billed to your account with that store. The amount, currency and taxes are those shown by the store immediately before purchase.
- Membership is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel in your store settings before the renewal date (for Apple, at least 24 hours before renewal), it renews for the same period and the renewal fee is charged to your store account.
- Credits are consumable items that you buy with a single payment and that are deducted as you use the service. The terms of use for credits are as shown on the relevant screen in the app.
- Subscriptions are cancelled or changed in your store account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your account may not cancel a subscription, so cancel the subscription in your store settings before you delete your account. After you cancel, you can use the membership until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- A reading bought as a product in the mobile app can be viewed for one year from the day the reading is completed. After that period, the text of the reading can no longer be viewed.
- Withdrawal and refunds: Notwithstanding Article 6, withdrawal and refunds for Mythelo are governed by the following:
- Under the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, a user may withdraw from the contract within 7 days from the date of the contract or the date the service becomes available.
- However, withdrawal may be restricted if the content was damaged for a reason attributable to the user, if the user has already viewed the full reading they paid for, or if provision of the content has already started or viewing has started with the user’s consent.
- The Company refunds the payment within 3 business days after receiving a justified withdrawal request. If the refund is unavoidably delayed, it is handled within the scope set by law.
- If a user withdraws for a simple change of mind, the user bears the cost required for the return. The Company bears it if the cause is attributable to the Company.
- If provision of the service is delayed or becomes impossible, the Company will notify the user without delay and, where payment has been made in advance, start the refund process in accordance with the law.
- Refunds for mobile app payments: In addition to the withdrawal and refunds item above, refunds for in-app purchases are governed by the following:
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so cancellation and refund requests are made by the user directly to the store under that store’s policy. (Apple: “Report a Problem” at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: the Google Play refund policy and your order history.)
- The Company cannot directly refund amounts processed by a store; whether a refund is possible and its amount are decided by the store. However, if you could not use the service for a reason attributable to the Company, the Company will give the cooperation needed for your refund request.
- Credits that have already been used (deducted) and readings that have been generated and are available to view fall under the start of content provision in the withdrawal and refunds item above, so withdrawal and refund may be restricted. This does not limit rights that the law guarantees to users, such as for unused credits.
- Cancellation of a payment made by a minor without a legal representative’s consent follows the eligibility item above and can be requested through the store’s refund process or at hello@arclair.com.
- Rights in user input: Notwithstanding Article 7, the information users enter into Mythelo and the readings generated from it are governed by the following:
- The right to view the information a user enters and the readings generated from it belongs to the user.
- The Company processes inputs and results only for providing, operating and improving the service, within the scope of the Privacy Policy.
- The user warrants that the information they enter does not infringe the rights of any third party, and the Company is not liable for disputes arising from such infringement.
- Prohibited conduct: In addition to the conduct listed in Article 8, users must not make improper use of Mythelo, such as mass requests through automated means.
